All our hosting
plans have the same features on each platform.
The only difference here is the amount of
disk space and monthly traffic.
If you're not sure,
go for Lite . Lite plans will cost
less and you can always upgrade to a higher
plan later. However, for business or sites
with relatively rich in graphic contents we
recommend Pro plans as minimum. |

- You've just started web
design and don't have any
scripting or programming preferences,
or things like PHP, ASP, MySQL,
VBScript,... don't make much
sense to you. Linux is the
cheaper option with load of
features.
- You're familiar with PHP
and MySQL, then you probably
know already that Linux is
for you.
- You're going to learn development
in PHP-MySQL.

- You're familiar with ASP,
MS Access, or VBScript, or
if you're dependant on Dreamweaver
for server-side scripting
in ASP/ASP.NET.
- You need a platform that
supports both PHP-MySQL and
ASP-Access-SQL Server. This
would be a good choice for
people who want to develop
in both ASP-Access and PHP-MySQL
- You're going to learn development
in ASP (on Windows).

A final comment: You might've heard that Linux
is faster than Windows or vice-versa, or that
Linux is more secure than Windows. We would
say that both platforms have their own strong
points and weaknesses and issues like security
cannot be tracked down to just the platform
itself. In many cases, the choice of platform
is just a matter of personal preference- developers
choose the platform they're more confident
with.
